Don't throw your phone away just yet. Rumors and unofficial reports point to September 9 as the most likely launch date of Apple's new offering - the iPhone 6. Many are expecting that it will be launched in an event in San Francisco. (Source: http://www.kdramastars.com/articles/34497/20140906/apple-iphone-6.htm)
Apple has typically waited until the morning of a big event like this to announce if they will be offering a live-stream or not. This year, we were lucky enough to know several days in advance via an announcement on their homepage last week that they will indeed offer a live stream of the announcement. THE TECH GUY will be hosting a #liveblog on 9 Sept. #staytuned for more coverage of the event. Followers of #THETECHGUY will get to see full coverage of the event even if they miss out. I recommend you bookmark this site so you can be sure you won't miss this great event. After the event there will be full coverage of the event that will be later posted on the site if you are not able to catch the live blog coverage.
Apple wants everyone to know they’ve got something important to talk about. They have scheduled their big reveal for the Flint Center in Cupertino for the first time since the announcement of the iMac. The Flint Center seats over 2500 people in addition to the ridiculously big three story structure they are building right next store to house lord knows what.
We all expect them to announce a 4.7″ & a 5.5″ iPhone 6. In addition, there are rumors that we will get out first glimpse of Apple’s attempt to crash the wearable (iWatch) market–although we don’t expect to actually see a release of the iWatch until early next year. Whatever happens, Tuesday at 1 pm EST can’t come soon enough! At least we get to see the announcement live. We can’t wait–how about you?
